Who to Pick?
The Rams are coming off of a bye week and need to regain their momentum, where the Eagles are coming off their first loss and need to find a good way to rebound from that. I would have to pick the Eagles in this game.
Without playing a real game of football in almost 2 weeks, the Rams want to begin the second part of their season on a good note, but this will be difficult against a team who has literally been matching on the field. The Rams will need to be able to stop the Eagles offense, so there defense will need to be playing at peak performance the whole game. The offense also needs to find the weak spots in the Eagles defense, such as the running block, in order to win this game.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles need to keep executing at the high level that they have previously done in the season. They need to continue playing full games so the opposing defense gets worn out and this is where they begin to score all their points. If they want better success against the higher ranked teams, they will need to grab a better running game. The quarterback can only do so much before it gets worn out too. Against the 49ers last week, they were unable to play a productive game, they only showed up in the first half and in the second half, they went to sleep and were unable to score any points. Going forward, the Eagles need to continue playing full games if they want to see the post season.
