Thursday Night Football: Vikings or Packers

Who to Pick?

This is not an easy one because both teams woke up last week in their games, but if I were to choose a team to win, I would have to say the Vikings only because of their dominate running game from last week.

Clay Matthews

Clay Matthews is a 4 time Pro Bowl linebacker and it may be so that he is one of the keys to the success of the Packers defense. Clay Matthews has been more successful against the Bears than any other team he has faced. He has the most sacks per game against the Bears.

Clay Matthews was listed a probable for this Sunday's game, but it is not certain that he will be able to play. Due to not being able to play because of a broken thumb, Matthews was unable to play both games against the Bears last year.

Packers vs. Bears Preview

This Match-up is on Sunday at 1:00 pm eastern time

View it on Fox or NFL RedZone

With the Packers coming off a loss to the Detroit Lions in week 3, it will be interesting to see how they rebound. The Packers are also looking to get out of the 4th spot in the NFC North, a win against the division rival is a necessity for the Packers. The Chicago Bears on the other hand are coming off a victory from last night against the New York Jets. Although they looked healthy last night, they had a few key player that were missing. It will be interesting to see how they do against the desperate Green Bay Packers.
