Who to Pick?
The Baltimore Ravens have played very well thus far this season. They are what I define as one of the top ten teams in the league. The Colts have also played very well this season, they are also in this top ten teams I explained earlier. If I were to pick a team to win this game, it would be the Ravens because they have played more consistent football.
The Ravens have been executing at a very high level for the length of the season. They have been averaging nearly 400 yards per game and have been every consistent in both the running game and the passing game. Joe Flacco has only threw 2 interceptions this year, but only has 7 touchdowns to show for the four games he has played. With a current quarterback rating of 93.5, he is a well developed force to watch out for, especially in stressful situations. The defense has also done very well so far this season by only letting up an average of 15 points per game, which is astonishing. Overall, this is a force that needs to be watched out for, especially going into the latter half of the season.
Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts have also had an excellent season. Although they are only 2-2, they have shown much more than that. They are 1st in the categories of average points per game and average passing yards per game, but rank in the 18th position when it comes to rushing yards. If they were able to better develop the running game, they would have been a more dominant force in the games they lost. The defense is what is killing the team, they allow almost 24 points per game so if the offense is not at its peak performance, then they will wind up losing the game and that is what happened with the two games they lost this season.
Offensive Comparison
The Colts have performed slightly better than the Ravens on Offense |
Defensive Comparison
The Ravens have done much better on Defense than the Colts |
