5 Quarterbacks to target in Week 6

This weeks picks for fantasy are going to be a little difficult in the stance of quarterbacks. With the New Orleans Saints and the Kansas City Chiefs on a bye, you loose two powerhouse quarterbacks. Both Drew Brees and Alex Smith great quarterbacks, but there are a few you can replace them with his week.

There are five relatively respectable quarterbacks you can replace them with.

Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals

Carson Palmer
He is only owned in 30 percent of leagues which means he will be readily available in most leagues. Although he hasn't played since week 1, he should be back as soon as this weekend. As always though, we will have to wait until later this week for further information so stay tuned for more information on Palmer and if he is going to start this weekends game against the Redskins.

Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings

Teddy Bridgewater
He is only owned in 18 percent of leagues, making him more readily available than Palmer. With two weeks since he last played, his ankle should have healed enough for him to play against the Lions on Sunday. After the performance Christian Ponder put up against the Packers, Bridgewater is looking like the likely replacement. If his ankle is still acting up, he will have a hard time facing the Lions defense, if not, it should be a good game.

Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars

Blake Bortles
He is only owned in 17 percent of leagues. Most of the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers defense, he performed well, but towards the end, he was looking more like a rookie quarterback. With his chance to show more of what he is made of especially against the Tennessee Titans who gave up a 28-3 lead. Hopefully he will be able to capitalize on that matchup.

Mike Glennon, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Glennon
He is owned in only 6 percent of leagues. One of the most readily available quarterbacks as a replacement. Two weeks in a row, he was able to show how a real NFL quarterback should play. His past two weeks performances should have been able to set him up for a starting position on the team. He will be facing the Baltimore Ravens, who rank 27th in passing yards allowed per game with 269.2 yards.

Austin Davis, St. Louis Rams

Austin Davis
He is owned in only 5 percent of the league. After his performances in the past two weeks, with 3 touchdowns and more than 300 yards in each game, it is hard to ignore him anymore. Being that he is so readily available, he would be a great guy to put up for this week as a replacement. He was able to put up those numbers against the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. With a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers this week and the Seattle Seahawks next week, things are about to get a bit tougher for him. It will be interesting to see if he keeps up those numbers in the next two weeks.
