Who to Pick?
Both teams are coming off a loss and both teams are 1-3. This decision is easy though because the Buccaneers have played much worse in their games than the Saints, so my pick for this game is the Saints.
The Buccaneers have been having a terrible season so far, they are one of the lowest ranked teams in the league currently. They are last in the league in passing yards per game, their rushing game is not any better and they have failed on most attempts to get the ball in the end zone. Their offense has not played to their potential and need to make a big change both offensively and defensively fast if they want to have any chance at a run for the playoffs. The defense has allowed almost 30 points per game, so they need to stop allowing big plays and they need to cut down on the amount of passing yards they allow to lower the amount of points allowed per game.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints, they have had one of their worst seasons in the past few years. Starting out at 1-3, they really need to pick up the pace if they want to stay in the running for the playoffs. The Saints are not ranked that bad on offense as they are 3rd in total yards and total passing yards, but that is where it drops off. They are ranked 15th in points scored and 11th in rushing yards. Their defense has not done that great this season as they have let up too many points. At almost 28 points per game, that is an average of about 4 touchdowns allowed per game. If your defense is going to let up more points then you can score, then you are going to have trouble winning games and the is the major problem with the Saints.
