The Patriots have responded to the press. The press wanted it, so Tom Brady delivered.

Just another game?

This was far from just another game for Brady and the Patriots. After a week of torture, they needed to win this game and that is exactly what they did. The Patriots showed up to Sunday Night Football with a purpose. They walked out of the stadium with smiles on their faces after a 43-17 victory over the Bengals.

The Press

Did the press have an influence on this game? The answer is yes, after a week of getting completely reamed by the press, enough was enough. The Patriots needed to put an end to this horror and that is what they did. The press was putting it as losing confidence in Belichick and Brady. The Patriots showed the press that they were wrong and it's time to put the past behind and focus on the future and success of the Patriots.

Rob Gronkowski

What was his role? Gronkowski stated that he had one goal going into Sunday night against the Bengals, to have Brady's back. This is exactly what he did. He ended the night with six catches for 100 yards and a receiving touchdown. After the game, it was clear that after the game, he was emotional. He stated that the team and him were going to make 12 look like Tom Brady again. They are well on their way. With Gronkowski getting healthier and healthier each and every week, it is clear that Gronkowski as a factor is becoming more and more mainstream. Future teams better watch out, Gronk is back.

Tom Brady

How did he perform? Brady walked out of the game with 292 yards passing, 2 touchdowns, no interceptions, and most of all, more confidence. Going into the game with a point to prove, it was clear that he was to prove that point on their first drive. After 10 plays, 80 yards and 4:57, the Patriots make it to the end zone, led by Brady. After the first drive, it was history, Tom and the Patriots kept up the pace and flattened the only remaining undefeated team in the league.

The Patriots went out and achieved all of their purposes. They should have silenced the press for another week, much needed after the past week. The Patriots are back and they are executing at a very high level. All other teams better watch out because the Patriots are on the train and they show no signs of getting off it.
